Responsibilities include developing structural design calculations & construction plans for bridge replacement & rehabilitation projects throughout Northeast. Bridge types include structural steel, prestressed concrete as well as complex structures such as long span steel truss bridges & timber covered bridges. The Senior Bridge Engineer will be responsible for serving in a lead technical role on bridge design projects and supervising more junior engineers in the performance of engineering tasks. Duties include serving as Project Manager on bridge projects. Strong project management experience with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to effectively interact with clients required; PE License with NYSDOT, NHDOT, VTRANS or PENNDOT experience is preferred.
Responsibilities include development of project plans, grading and drainage design, pavement design, utilities, stormwater design, quantities, specifications, and contract documents for airport improvement projects at general aviation and commercial service airports throughout the Northeast. Position will involve direct contact with the FAA, state aviation authorities, and clients. B.S. in Civil Engineering and PE license is required. Successful candidate will have 5-10 years of progressive airport design experience and strong written and oral communication skills.
Senior level Project Manager with 10-15+ years of HVAC, plumbing and fire protecting design for higher education, commercial, and industrial building facilities to be involved with diverse spectrum of projects ranging in size and complexity from small commercial, health care, educational and industrial projects to large public and private building engineering projects.
Primary responsibility will be the oversight and development of the Mechanical Engineering staff focusing on enhancing staff skills and improvements to the project delivery system as well as proposal development.
Qualifications include BSME with PE required, LEED AP and Certified Commissioning Professional preferred. Strong technical skills in design, heat loss/gain calculations (Trane Trace a plus) and experience using various building codes including: IBC, BOCA, ASME, ANSI, ASHRAE and NFPA codes; Working knowledge of 2D-3D CAD design software. Must be a proven effective team leader with project management experience.
Work will involve various Highway and Bridge Construction Engineering and Inspection services needed for upcoming ARRA funded projects. Qualifications include: BSCE or PE preferred with NICET Certificiation required and 5 years experience in State DOT projects, NYSDOT & NHDOT preferred.
BS in Civil/Structural Engineering with 0 - 4 years building design experience and AutoCAD proficiency.
