Senior level Project Manager/Engineer with 10-15+ years of HVAC, plumbing and fire protection design experience in commercial, industrial and institutional building facilities to be involved with diverse spectrum of projects ranging in size and complexity from small commercial, health care, educational and industrial projects to large public and private building engineering projects. Primary responsibility will be oversight and development of Mechanical Engineering staff, focusing on improving staff skills and improvements to the project delivery system. B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, PE license preferred. Strong technical skills in design, heat loss/gain calculations (Trane Trace a plus), experience using various building codes including: IBC, BOCA, ASME, ANSI, ASHRAE and NFPA codes, working knowledge of 2D-3D CAD. Sustainable design experience and LEED accreditation are assets. Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills required, Certified Commissioning Professional preferred.
Senior level electrical
engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience in the design of lighting,
power distribution,
grounding, fire alarm, security systems, telecommunication, and control/signal
systems for institutional, commercial healthcare, private industrial
and governmental facilities. Candidates should be self-starters able
to make an immediate contribution to the team. Qualifications include
a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, PE license or eligibility to obtain,
ability to use AutoCAD and AutoCAD design software, ability to supervise
CADD Technicians and Jr. level designers/engineers; extensive knowledge
of electrical systems and equipment, and have a working knowledge
of NEC, NFPA and Life Safety Codes; and excellent verbal communication
and technical writing skills required, experience in sustainability design preferred.
LEED(tm) Accredited Professional or Certified Energy Manager or Commissioning Agent highly desired.
Progressive technical experience preparing Environmental Assessments and Impact Statements on Highway and Bridge projects required. Strong writing skills needed to provide technical leadership for preparation of assessments, public speaking and interpersonal skills a plus. Strong Biology background, with ideally experience in Stream Restoration, Air Quality, Social Impact, or Permitting preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field required. Position involves some overnight travel.
Responsibilities include involvement
with transportation planning studies, traffic engineering and design
for state, municipal and private clients throughout the northeast
and mid-Atlantic region. Seek experience in a wide range of transportation
planning areas including demand modeling, network modeling, traffic
impact assessments, access management studies, corridor studies,
trip generation and traffic forecasting, and ITS design and applications.
Use of current software applications for traffic engineering (HCS,
Synchro, TSIS, Transyt, etc.), and network modeling (TRANPLAN, TMODEL2,
TRIPS) is highly desirable. MicroStation and/or AutoCAD experience
is also a plus. Position requires a PE with minimum of 7 years experience,
excellent oral and written communication and public participation
skills. Note geographical preference of Binghamton, NY.
Multiple openings for Civil Engineers
with 0-10 years of design experience. Successful candidates will
have a B.S. in Civil Engineering, PE license or progressing toward
a PE license, and strong technical writing skills. Engineers will
work under close supervision; receive specific detailed instructions
as to required tasks and results expected. They will perform a variety
of routine tasks, which should provide experience and familiarization
with the engineering staff, methods, practices, and programs of the
company.
Work will include
grading and drainage design, pavement design, utilities, stormwater
management, and development of plans, specifications, and cost estimates. B.S.
in Civil Engineering or closely related field is required with previous PENNDOT experience preferred. Successful
candidates will have a PE license or demonstrated progress toward
a PE license, as well as experience with Microstation and InRoads
software.

for CADD Technicians with 0-10 years of experience. Responsibilities
will include plan preparation and production for transportation and
facilities projects. Microstation or AutoCAD experience, and
an associates degree or higher are preferred.
